Bordeaux & Cognac
The Bordeaux and Cognac regions in southwestern France are renowned for their winemaking and distillation heritage. Bordeaux produces complex and prestigious red blends, primarily in the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varietals, while Cognac is known for its world-famous brandy, made from Ugni Blanc grapes through meticulous double distillation and oak aging.
October 4th -10th, 2026
This 7-day adventure begins in Paris and takes us to Bordeaux – one of the most famous wine regions in France. It is the largest fine wine region on earth. From our home base at Le Palais Gallien – a private residence turned 5 star hotel in Bordeaux – we’ll explore the most famous appellations, including St. Emilion, Cadillac and the Medoc. And, if that isn’t enough, this tour also spends a day in Cognac, visiting Cognac Frapin and Cognac Park.
